We are looking for a medior JAVA developer for our Bluebird partner. The position requires 3 days on-site in Budapest and fluent English.

Requirements

3+ years hands-on Java development experience with services-oriented architectures and Java application servers (JBoss, Apache, Spring Framework)
Experience supporting Unix/Linux platforms
Knowledge of at least one distributed version control system ideally Git
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Willing to work with global project teams spread across several time zones
Legacy tool knowledge
Junit, Mockit, knowledge.
Cloud tech knowledge
Testing experience
Linux and shared script knowledge is required at least at basic level

Tasks

Bug fix 80%
Helping the team continuously improve processes and ways of working
Working with project managers, technical leads, business owners, and analysts through the entire SDLC, understanding and refining systems requirements, working in Agile model
Participating in setting coding standards and guidelines for web applications, identify and detail best practices
Understanding and supporting existing systems, and resolve operations issues while working with other engineering staff located across the globe
Being curious and eager to learn new things, with a healthy disrespect for the status quo
Willing to embrace work outside of your comfort zone, and open to mentorship from others you make mistakes, but learn from them
