Our customer is at the forefront of digital transformation, empowering businesses to leverage the power of data. Therefore we are looking for a Azure Synapse Analytics Database Administrator on a project basis.
Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure Synapse Analytics solutions to enhance our data warehouse operations.
- Ensure database performance, security, and availability in a 24/7 production environment.
- Optimize data flows and storage within Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate new data sources and support data modeling efforts.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks including updates, backups, and tuning.
Qualifications
- Experience in database administration, with at least 2 years focused on Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with other database technologies.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse design principles and best practices.
