We are looking for new team members to join our partners team due to significant growth. The following positions are available Medior/Senior Backend (PHP, Laravel), Full-stack (PHP/Angular/React), Tech Lead.
Our client is operating in the financial industry. Their office is located in Budapest. For those living nearby, there is the opportunity of working from home 4 days a week, while for employees residing further away, a monthly presence in the office for 1 day is expected.
If you are currently working as a backend (PHP, Laravel) developer but would like to become a full-stack (PHP+React) developer, here is an opportunity for you. Technologies used by our partners on the frontend side include React, Tailwind and Javascript.
As a technical lead, in addition to your development tasks, you will be responsible for mentoring and code review, among other things.
Project you would be working on a developing product of our own, which is an online broker comparison platform (in a team of 9 people).
To fill the position, a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role (PHP, Laravel), proficiency in PHP 8 or a newer version, in-depth knowledge of Laravel, and a confident command of the English language are required.
Tasks:
- Writing clean, testable and well thought out code. Building and deploying new features on our partners site
- Participation in our partners agile workflow and brainstorm on greenfield products
- Integrate software components and third-party programs, work closely with the business team in order to manage expectations, shape and guide their ideas to ensure deliverable features
- Opportunity to maintain and plan improvements which support business goals in the long-term. Help build development standards and conventions to make sure code quality improvements are continuous. Review code to verify it meets expectations.
Requirements:
- Strong customer focus
- Relevant experience with PHP /Laravel Framework (PHP version 8 is used here)
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar position
- English working proficiency, interviews and tests might be conducted in English
Nice to have:
- Experience with REST API, Tailwind CSS
- Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Basic SEO understanding – writing efficient and valid code
- Server-side rendering knowledge
- Knowledge of frontend build tools, CI/CD
