Our client has more than 40 years of research and development in the field of gambling systems made our company a worldwide leading supplier of gambling products. To support their team in Budapest, we are looking for a Backend Developer.
Tasks:
- Software development (analysis, design, implementation, integration) in the area of lottery systems in cooperation with developers of other components
- Maintenance, support and assistance in test and operation of the system
- Taking responsibility for the assigned software components
- Working according to company development processes (ISO9000, Scrum/Kanban, SAFE4)
- Continuous improvement of development environment and processes
- Preparing/making presentations for clients and introducing/teaching system functions to colleagues through internal training, if required
Requirements:
- You graduated of a technical college or university
- You have minimum 2+ years of software development experience in full time job
- Backend developer, used to batch process large amounts of data
- Good knowledge in using / designing web interfaces (REST, JSON, )
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python
- Knowledge in PL/SQL, pgsql, Vert.x and Ruby (middleware programming)
- Experience with databases and SQL ( PostgreSQL/Oracle),
- Experience in using GitLab, container build environments
- Skilled programmer and able to work with sensitive data
- You are able to work in a team or independently
- You would like to use your English on a daily basis
