Client is a consultancy, working on an internal project called Digital Experience Accelerator. This is a greenfield product development project within the consultancy.
All team members will be engaged within one of the client scrum teams.

About the Candidate

  • Analytical, strong in troubleshooting and identifying technical solutions.
  • Strong business level English both written and spoken

Must have demonstrable experience of

  • Azure cloud expertise.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps/GitHub.
  • Software engineering background.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, Java, C#).
  • Strong in system architecture and config management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure and CI/CD toolchains.
  • Address delivery bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Support Site Reliability Engineering tasks.
  • Promote CI/CD best practices, design for continuous delivery.
  • Ensure timely, budget-aligned delivery with technical leads.
  • Accountable for project success, including cross-functional input.
  • Design/implement controls for deliverable safety and accuracy.
  • Support Systems Team in client delivery, maintain documentation, enhance commercial opportunities, triage service issues.

Working Practices

  • Part of a 5-person Platform team providing DevOps and SRE.
  • Regular meetings Daily Sprint, Fortnightly Planning/Review/Retrospective, Weekly Backlog Refinement, Fortnightly Story Kick Offs.
  • Tools Bitbucket, Office365, AWS, Atlassian, Teams/Slack, Sitefinity, Azure, Octopus Deploy, Terraform.
