We are looking for a Senior Data Operations Engineer to join the team of our leading financial services partner.
Tasks
- Taking part of daily operations, ensuring seamless and timely data flow to our product pages
- Identifying opportunities to enhance our data pipelines and alerting mechanisms to ensure a smoother daily production and reduce the number of daily alerts
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver on tactical and strategic initiatives that influence the way data is being managed and delivered
- Apply quality engineering practices through the Software Engineering Life-Cycle
Requirements
- Ability to dissect complex systems and always looking for ways to enhance them and the processes around
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and time/priority management under pressure
- Hands-on SQL experience
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes and tools (Informatica is a plus).
Nice to havae
- Familiarity with data monitoring platforms (Splunk)
- Acquaintance with NoSQL databases
- PythonProficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge in Git, Maven or Gradle, and Jenkins
