Our partner is create next generation automotive software solutions which make automated driving safe and affordable. We are looking for a Senior Deep Learning Engineer and a Senior AI Data Engineer/Scientist to join our partners team. Office work for 3 days per week is expected at the office closest to you (Budapest/Debrecen/Szeged or Győr).
Project This would be a new, globally pioneering project related to self-driving vehicles. (For both positions you would work on this project.)
The selection process consists of 2-3 rounds of interviews
Requirements
- Senior Deep Learning Engineer
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Programming experience in any of Python, C++, Matlab or excellent skills in other languages.
- University degree (BSc or higher) in a technical area Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Solid background and self-driven interest in machine learning, deep learning, familiarity with recent advances of state-of-the-art.
- Expertise in optimizing and fine-tuning deep neural networks.
- Demonstrated experience in applying machine learning methods for real-world value creation.
- Familiarity with GPU-accelerated libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Excellent command of English, spoken and written.
- Senior AI Data Engineer/Scientist
- 5+ years of relevant job experience as software developer or software architect with a strong track record of successful software project delivery.
- Excellent coding skills in Python.
- University degree (BSc or higher) in a technical area Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Professional usage of software development tools.
- Experience in mentoring and training junior developers.
- Good command of English language.
- Excellent command of English, spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Senior Deep Learning Engineer
- Familiarity with large-scale data processing infrastructures and technologies.
- Experience in 3D Computer Vision and Multimodal models

Your tasks
- As a Senior AI Data Engineer/Scientist You will
- Lead the design and architecture of labelling systems by preparing and supporting high level decision making
- Participate in project planning, task estimation, and technical input for project timelines.
- Think in systems and explore opportunities to improve and streamline end-to-end processes by transforming abstract concepts into working solutions.
- Develop data pipeline concepts and prototypes, identify and solve performance bottlenecks etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software architects, AI developers, to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate the deployment process.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews to ensure adherence coding standards and best practices.
- As a Deep Learning Engineer You will
- Create, apply and evaluate novel deep learning methods to yield a comprehensive environmental model using data from cameras, laser and radar sensors, and their combination.
- Develop, analyze and improve deep learning algorithms for complex scene understanding, computer vision (2-D and 3-D object detection, semantic segmentation, human pose estimation), point cloud analysis, sensor fusion, model fusion, and more.
- Access and use vast amounts of computing power and petabytes of internal and external data to train models.
- Enable, perform and document evaluation and comparison of different machine learning approaches.
- Work as part of an international team alongside renowned internal and external experts in the field. Benefit from university collaborations. Depending on interest, participate in real-world field tests.
