We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for our international client. This international life sciences company is providing an unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable. From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, our partner works with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic and labelling is accurate.
Tasks
- Manage and monitor projects delivering IT Infrastructure services to supported businesses and other internal customers
- Define scope, provide estimates, plan the budget, allocate resources, own communications and governance
- Proactively identify project delivery risks, establish mitigation mechanisms and communicate
- Ask the right questions to fully understand customers requirements and baseline
- Acting as interface between customers, local IT Infrastructure Team (Operations, Support, etc.) and other stakeholders (Management, Global IT Team, etc.)
- Lead, guide, inspire, motivate and direct multiple cross organizational teams and suppliers to deliver products ensuring a return on investment
- Preparation and presentation of decision-making material
- Working as a member of the regional team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned IT Region and travel if necessary
- Adhering to current regulatory requirements to include, but not limited to, GxP, HIPPA, GDPR
Requirements
- At least 2 year of experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager of complex IT Infrastructure projects in a large, preferably international organization or at least 4 year of experience as Project Manager with strong attitude to develop skills in IT Infrastructure field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- At least one CEE language skills are required (e.g. Hungarian, Slovak, Polish, Romanian, etc.)
- Valid drivers license is required
- Professional qualification or equivalent experience in an Information technology related subject and project management
- Skilled with working on MS Office
- Familiarity with project management methods
- Strong customer focused, team-oriented communication skills with emphasis on building lasting, trusted partnerships through written and verbal communications with clients of IT in the business
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner
- The ability to liaise and communicate confidently and professionally
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to work on own initiative to complete the range of tasks required
- Ability to work in a fluid environment delivering results by influencing the assets outside the hierarchy setup
- Flexible and willing to work outside core business hours as required
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
