We are looking for an IT security manage to join our stable, dynamically developing international manufacturing partners team to Budapest with 3 days/week home office opportunity. (For rural workers, 1 day of office presence per week).

The selection process consists of two rounds of interviews.

Currently there is one person working in this area, you should work with him.

The position is mostly technical, but you would also have management responsibilities.

The position requires 5+ years of IT security experience preferably in a multinational manufacturing company , experience in cloud security solution and fluent verbal and written English.

Willingness to travel is important for the position, as quarterly one week business trips are expected for visiting our partners foreign factories (e.g., in Sweden, Italy, Czech Republic), with full expense reimbursement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT security experience preferably in a multinational manufacturing company
  • Experience in developing and executing IT security strategy, policies and procedures and framework
  • Experience in cloud security solution (Azure)
  • Experience in managing a small team of IT security professionals
  • Vendors management experiences (consultants, contracts, license, etc)
  • Knowledge of cyber security solutions market
  • Lead the implementation of security projects
  • Experience working in multinational environment.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiar with various IT control concepts (ITGC) and managing control frameworks focused on information security. Familiar with EU GDPR concepts and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update IT security strategy and framework to adapt to evolving threats and technologies and to protect the organizations data and assets from security threats.
  • Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades and improvements.
  • Ensure that PPF complies with relevant IT security standards related to data privacy and security.
  • Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements, and major changes to the information security environment.
  • Assess and monitor the security practices of third-party vendors and partners to ensure they meet the organizations security standards.
  • Oversee information security audits performed internally or by third-party personnel.
  • Lead the incident response process, including investigation, containment, and recovery in the event of a security breach or incident.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization by using existing methods like security awareness trainings and bringing new ways of shaping the culture.
  • Contribute to the improvement of PPF disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Monitor PPF network for security breaches and investigate violations.
  • Address security breaches (GDPR), cooperate with legal department.
  • Own IT security related policies and procedures, ensure that those ones are followed.
  • Evaluate and follow up on results of security related KPIs on regular basis.
  • Plan IT security related OPEX / CAPEX budget.
  • Manage IT security related projects, vendors, contracts, and license
  • Own the IT security workstream of post-merger integrations including risk assessment, mitigation planning and resolution.
  • Participate at new business solutions design, represent security aspects in solution selections.
