We are looking for an experienced DB2 Administrator with fluent German and English skills.
Tasks
- Implementation and operation of a highly available DB2 for Linux environment.
- DB2 LUW ( Linux – Ubuntu – Windows ) Server Management and Design
- Implementation and operation of a highly available DB2 LUW environment, which meets the requirements of continuous availability
- Handling of the data movement utilities commonly used on DB2 LUW
- Creation and management of DB2 objects
- SQL performance monitoring and optimization
- Support with database and performance problems, especially with Java JDBC applications
Requirements
- Unix basic knowledge
- Several years of experience with RHEL Enterprise Linux and/or Ubuntu Linux
- Experience with DB2 LUW version 10.1, version 10.5 or version 11.5.
- Experience in the application and optimization of complex SQL statements
- Experience using DB2 utilities for database and object maintenance
- Experience with DB2 in a High Availability environment (purescale).
- DB2 security facilities to protect sensitive information
- Experience with database restore and backup concepts
- DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Foundation and Administration Badge (optional)
- Several years of experience working with DB2
- Experience with tools commonly used in the DB2 environment
HO regulations
- 3-4 days on-site work in Vienna/1-2 days remote
