We are looking for a qualified E2E Test Manager who can also cover the position of Lead Test Manager (Stream Programme Digitalisation). In addition to the role of test management, it is important as a lead test manager to be able to professionally exemplify how professional tests are to be set up and implemented (hands-on mentality in the creation of complex test scenarios/automations is expected/presupposed).The position is based in Vienna, Austria, with the opportunity for remote work 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- The responsibility as a test manager lies in the creation of test specifications in cooperation with the management as well as the monitoring of the operational implementation.
- The aim is to implement continuous improvements to the test processes and specifications in the course of the digitisation programme.
- In the role of test manager, you are responsible for creating test strategies and test concepts (end-to-end testing, both technical and functional) within the programme and the most important surrounding systems. This includes creating test plans as well as coordinating and monitoring the E2E tests with all involved testers.
- The coordination with all involved stakeholders and adjacent projects as well as the prioritisation of the test chains/metrics are also part of your tasks.
- The job profile of an E2E test manager is rounded off by tasks that contribute to ensuring the test progress and the creation of reports for the stakeholders and the board.
Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years experience as a test manager in complex IT programmes/projects
- Experience in the technical management of test teams at programme level
- Strong interpersonal skills and good team leadership skills
- Knowledge of both agile and traditional testing methods
- Language skills in German and English
- ISTQB certification is an advantage
