We need a software developer to write 6 financial data extracts from Oracle E-Business and write 8 comma-separated text files based on that data. The developer must have clear, demonstrable experience doing EXACTLY what is required with Oracle E-Business Suite and PL/SQL. Once started with access to the system, the right person will get this work done in 2 weeks. But since there will be some design changes, more testing, wed expect this work to last 4 weeks.
General expectations
- Use of Azure DevOps build and release pipelines and code repository
- Oracle SQL/PLSQL programming
- Staff with knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.X specifically generic understanding of common organizational structures in Oracle EBS (operating units parties) receivables payables procurement
- Solution specific skills two options
- If we do it with an Oracle concurrent program to extract
- Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) 12.2.X
- Oracle EBS Concurrent program definition, Request set and responsibility management
- Explore and understand Oracle EBS base database objects, and able to navigate around EBS table structures
- Design skills (again, must have obvious experience)
- Ability to work independently
- If we do it with Informatica Cloud ETL (more Informatica skillset required and less of EBS specific) will require some level of support from Product teams, like providing the base queries to start with
- Knowledge and experience with Informatica Cloud ETL development and task scheduling
- Basic Oracle knowledge to understand SQL queries as data source of the ETLs
