Functional consultants will communicate technical instructions in understandable business terms and produce technical user manuals, requiring exceptional interpersonal and communicative ability.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions, including changes to work processes, organizational structures
- Creating and maintaining relationships with clients and managing their account, including meetings with senior leadership to assess needs and progress
- Conducting needs assessments to determine where improvements can be made
- Developing strategies to improve communication between departments or teams where needed
- Conducting training sessions on new software applications in order to help users adapt to new technology within their field
- Presenting findings to clients in a clear and concise manner so they can understand how the changes will affect their organization
- Designing and conducting evaluations to measure the effectiveness of programs or initiatives in order to determine whether they should be continued or discontinued
- Creating and maintaining databases to track employee performance, attendance, training records, etc.
- Providing recommendations for changes in policies or procedures in order to improve efficiency
- Following the companys policies
Requirements
- 3-5 + years of experience as a consultant in multinational environment
- Work experience in IT
- Knowledge of SAP
- PLM knowledge is a big plus
- Strong stakeholder management, problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Food/Pharma industry would be an advantage
- Ability to work across multiple international time zones with offshore teams
- Fluent in English
