Our client is an international technology group that supports companies from all industries in over 20 countries. To support the existing team, our client is currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer in Vienna (1 day on-site in Vienna/week).
Experience
- Several years of experience in the analysis of extensive, complex IT systems and a deep understanding of technical and functional processes and interrelationships
- Excellent knowledge of tools for visualizing and documenting software requirements (Jira/Confluence, Office products)
- Ability to easily present, visualize and communicate complex technical relationships
- Experience in working with very complex data landscapes
- Strong social skills, especially in dealing with stakeholders (management, specialist departments, technical employees)
- Knowledge and practical experience in agile software development processes and in working in agile software implementation teams
- High quality awareness
Required skills
- Technical experience in freight transport / logistics
- Python
- Power BI
- SQL (primarily data analysis)
- Cloud-based data platforms
- Design & implementation of data governance strategies
- Experience with the Informatica data catalog (EDC & Axon)
- Fluency in English (German is nice to have)
