We are seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer with frontend focus.
About the Role
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on frontend technologies, particularly React, to lead the modernization of several applications from Ext JS to React. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our application modernization efforts, working directly on-site at our clients office in Budapest for three days a week, with the flexibility of remote work for the remaining days.
Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization of legacy applications from Ext JS to React, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of the new applications.
- Work closely with the clients teams, adopting an Agile methodology with a squad-based approach to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
- Utilize Copilot and similar tools to facilitate the efficient migration of applications, leveraging your expertise to overcome technical challenges.
- Collaborate with backend teams, providing insights and guidance to ensure seamless integration with Java-based services.
- Play a pivotal role in building and leading a team of developers, providing coaching and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Ideal Candidate
- Strong proficiency in React and a solid understanding of Ext JS, with proven experience in migrating applications to modern frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of full-stack development, with strong backend skills in Java.
- Experience with Copilot or similar tools for code migration and modernization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in squad-based teams.
- A proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.
