We are looking for a Senior IT Security Operations Engineer with relevant experience and strong English knowledge
Our partner is a multinational software development company, which develops architectural design software for architects based on building information modelling.

Tasks:

Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data,
Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough analysis to identify and mitigate risks promptly,
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust security solutions,
Conduct regular security assessments,
Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices,
Manage the daily operation of the IT Security systems,
Provide system administration functions on Microsoft products on-premises and in the cloud (Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Fortinet firewalls, etc.),
Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies to enhance our security posture proactively.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience,
Minimum 4-5 years of proven experience in IT security operations and incident response or in a similar role,
Professional certifications such as CISSP are highly desirable,
Cloud security, preferably multi-cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS mainly)
Administering and hardening Microsoft 365,
network protocols and intrusion detection systems,
Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud,
security frameworks, protocols, and industry best practices, such as ISO 27001, 27002, etc.,
Server Maintenance and Updates, service lifecycle management
Microsoft Windows, Server, Exchange, SQL
Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS, Printserver, GPO, etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,
Good command of English and Hungarian is required,
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
