Responsibilities

Design, develop and support of application solutions running on SAP Business Technology Platform with (BTP) ABAP with multi-tenancy
Product development with close collaboration with fellow development team members
Code ownership own the code and make it better, if required after several iteration
Participation on Code Review sessions
Analyze business requirements and make effort estimations and risk / impact analysis
Data Modeling, review and implementation with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)

Requirements

Very strong ABAP / Data Modeling (with CDS Views) experience according to the newest language elements
Hands-On experience with Object Oriented ABAP including conceptualization, development and support
Experience with OData protocol and service exposure
Quality-focused approach down to object/variable-naming
Ability to translate business requirements to Data Model & Solution Design and Implementation
Strong experience with SQL, db table design, queries by also taking performance aspects into consideration
Familiarity with E2E testing and debugging, network analysis
Experience in API testing with REST Client e.g. Postman
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
Ability to work cooperatively with others
