Tasks

  • Service Desk Specialist is providing support for end users, managing incoming calls and tickets in Service Management system. Providing high percentage of first line and onsite support for IT related service requests and incidents, including workstation hardware, operating system, workstation applications and related connectivity.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of client operating systems and system software
  • High school degree
  • Knowledge of hardware maintenance
  • Motivated to learn new skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in an international team
  • Ability to initiate and drive improvement and change

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, dispatching and resolving service request tickets and handling incoming calls
  • Managing users accounts in active directory and other enterprise systems
  • Providing end user IT support for hardware and software related issues
  • Centralized image deployment of end user workstations
  • Collaborating with other IT Infrastructure teams in order to provide better user support
  • Requires field work to provide shop, sales and technical facilities support
  • Maintaining high level of user satisfaction
  • All other ad hoc tasks by request of manager
