We are looking for a Medior/Senior Service Manager/Project Manager (infrastructure) to join our international partners team to Budapest, with 3 days/week home-office opportunity.
Our partner has been active in the enterprise IT infrastructure services market in Hungary and the Central European region Since 2003, offering design, implementation, consulting, supervision, and operational services.
The selection process consists of 2 rounds of interviews.
Projects are related to the banking and utilities sector. You should visit clients approximately 2-3 times per month. The majority of clients are Hungarian, however, in the future, you would need to work on international projects.
At the moment you should use English 20% of the time in your work.

The Service Manager is essential in steering the delivery of IT services to our specific customers. This role focuses on coordinating, carrying out, and overseeing the various activities tied to IT infrastructure operations and services. It involves thorough project planning, maintaining smooth operations, reporting on service level agreements, and managing the financial aspects of our projects, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project or delivery management roles and bring a good understanding of IT managed- or project services.

- 3+ years of experience in IT service or project managemen
- 1 year infrastructure experience/ Service operations knowledge
- Proficient in Hungarian and English (Intermediate level)
- Driving license (You need to visit clients three times a month, and a company car is provided.)
- Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organisational levels.
- Experience in client-facing roles, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a diverse, distributed team.

- Bachelors degree in economics, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Plan and oversee infrastructure-related activities and projects, focusing on achieving service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery against project objectives.
- Engage with clients and business representatives to thoroughly understand business needs and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery, identifying opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
- Participate in strategic planning to enhance our service offerings.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IT service management processes, project plans, and designs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within the company, contributing to a repository of best practices, reusable components, and thought leadership through blogs, white papers, case studies, etc.
