We are seeking a System Administrator Senior to join our IT team. Responsibilities include planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, monitoring, project management, and managing enterprise hardware, infrastructure, and systems across geographic locations while ensuring stable and secure operations.
Responsibilities
- Remote operations of geographically disperse IT hardware, infrastructure, and systems
- Automate proactive monitoring and orchestrate administration steps to improve service levels
- Primary or shared responsibility for enterprise hardware, infrastructure, and systems
- Proactively learn the environment and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with team members providing guidance and mentoring
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, monitoring, project management, and management of:
- Cloud Infrastructure and Services experience required (Azure / O365)
- Capacity planning and automated scaling
- Analysis and optimization
- Backup and Restore for hybrid cloud environment
- High Availability for hybrid cloud environment
- Virtualization (VMware / OVM)
- Compute (CISCO UCS experience a plus / HPE / Dell)
- Email (Exchange Hybrid)
- Storage (Nimble / Dell)
- Citrix (Receiver / Workspace / Netscaler)
- AD, ADFS, AAD, DNS, DHCP, 3rd party SSO
- Scripting (Powershell, Perl, Python, etc.)
- DLP
- MFA
- SCCM experience desired
- Windows Server 2008 – 2019
- Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Service Desk (FootPrints)
- Multi-site disaster recovery experience a plus
- MS SQL experience a plus
- Linux experience required
- Clear understanding of data center networking concepts
- Firewall, load balancer, data center routing and switching experience a plus
- WAN and LAN networking knowledge a plus
- Cyber Security Incident Management and Response experience a plus
- DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD experience a plus
Requiremets
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (educational equivalent) with 8+ years’ experience or 12+ years’ experience, in lieu of education, in a client/server environment, preferably with global infrastructure footprint. Advanced knowledge of Azure, O365, Windows Server Operating System, Microsoft Technology Stack (AD, ADFS, AAD, DNS), VMware ESXi, Storage, Server Hardware, and MS Exchange (Hybrid) is required. Operational knowledge of Citrix, Cisco UCS, MFA, DLP, Veeam, and SEP. Demonstrable experience in achieving and measuring service level and operations improvements; ITSM and ITIL certifications a plus.
