Our partner is a global technology company, they are looking for a colleague for their Budapest office.

They are looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX Designer to join their internal digital product design team to create unique, user-centric products and experiences for their portfolio of HPC, Simulation, Data Analytics, and innovation-driven products. Ideally you would have experience working with agile teams including product managers, designers, and developers. You will also have familiarity with traditionally UX-oriented tasks and will use user data and research to inform your design decisions. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around crafting beautiful and polished UI to hand-off to product teams to produce commercially deployed software solutions.

Tasks

  • Team player capable of comfortably cross-collaborating with teams and roles of all different shapes and sizes. From large legacy to small emergent product teams you will need to interact and collaborate with all level of product managers, developers, documentation writers, and designers.
  • Perform requirement gathering and discovery tasks for design exercises with functional managers, product teams, and stakeholders.
  • Create exceptionally polished, pixel-perfect mockups and designs to help guide and influence product and feature development using style guides, design pattern libraries, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  • Present and defend your ideas and design decisions using user research, design thinking, and design fundamentals (ie color theory, hierarchy, usability, legibility, etc.) to designers and non-designer stakeholders.
  • Show self-organization, initiative, and thoughtfulness when approaching design tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date on current design trends, patterns, and industry standards and present and share with your team on a regular basis.
  • Document design specification and guidelines for style guides, design components, and design patterns for product and design teams.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience working as a Visual, UI, UX, or Product Designer.
  • Bachelors in Graphic Design or related degree and education level
  • Experience in these in User Research, User Testing, User Flows, User Journeys, Prototyping
  • Low and Medium Fidelity Mockups
  • Portfolio showing critical thinking, ability to solve problems using creativity, strong attention to detail, and strong command of design fundamentals.
  • Systems-thinking capable with ability to organize and create design systems and apply them to digital products, experiences, and ecosystems.
  • Experience using the following tools Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar.
