For our client in Vienna, we are looking for a specialist in packaging client software products for Windows OS. Fluent German is a must.
Tasks
- Receive software from application owners (mostly as Windows Installer files, occasionally need to create an installer file).
- Package the software with desired configurations and distribute it as an automated package.
- Distribution using MEM (Intune).
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Windows Installers.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Client (10, 11), including security aspects.
- Occasional involvement with Apple (jamf, macOS).
- Preparation for deployment using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), Azure AD, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.
- Strong knowledge of MS PowerShell.
- Perform configuration adjustments, such as creating registry entries.
- Perform test installations on defined operating systems (virtual machines will be provided).
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, guidelines, and policies.
- Familiarity with and verification of compliance with “Certification requirements for Windows Desktop Apps.”
- Prepare technical test reports in German according to provided templates and specified systems (product analysis, packaging, testing).
- Create decision templates in German.
- Experience with software deployment using MEM.
